Mini Meltdown + School Holidays + Missing Husband = Husband Home, Kids Away & Date Night…

By mid week I was having a mini melt down with the school holidays and the kids just not wanting to listen to me and the saying they were bored blah blah blah…. other crap not falling into place and then on top of all that missing Paul heaps. Yes even though I only seen him the weekend before, I still miss him heaps.

So Thursday night I was having a sook and whine at Paul which in the end resulted him in coming home this weekend too.. WOOHOO. Was a great suprise to have him home, just what the Dr ordered.

Lastnight Paul decided that if we could get rid of the kids for the night then he would take me out to dinner and have a nice relaxing time. Good ol’ Aunty Karen came to the rescue and took the kids for the night and then we went out.

Was such a lovely night. Went to (A)lure Restaurant at Burswood Resort Casino, second time we been here, and I have to tell you it was the best. They have changed the menu for winter so it was all new things for us to taste again. After a 3 course meal and drinks and needing to be rolled out of there we decided to head over to the casino and try our luck.

Boy has that place changed. You can certainly tell that the Packers are now owners of the place.. it is looking more and more like the Crown in Melbourne every time we go there. Anyway I found my poker machine, good ol’ 1c machine so my $5 felt like millions, and off I went. Paul went and played his Roulette. After about 15 minutes passing Paul came back to me a rather happy man. He won just over $300. Woohoo .. that paid for our night out and then some. So was an awesome night all together.

Got home crashed and had a great sleep in, woke at 10am this morning then thought I best go get the kids before they kill Aunty Karen.

So here we are at the almost begining of week 2 of the school holidays and I am wondering how I am going to get through these ones… easy.. I will lock the kids in a box and go out by myself… I be sure to give them water and bread.. lol.

Oh and there is still no inspiration. I have decided that no one reads my blog, well besides Mistra, as she is the only one that left a comment… you don’t need a RAK Missy so I just buy you a coffee next time I see ya.. lol

OK thats all for me right now.. off to sort kids in shower and then bed for all I think.
