3 Days into the New Year…
.. and lots has been done already.
Friday the 1st we had a rather relaxing day at home and done some final prep work for Joshua’s brunch we had on the 2nd.
With Josh’s birthday falling on the 31st of December it makes it hard to do anything with friends unless we organise something for the beginning of the month before school breaks. Unfortunately this year we were o busy we just didn’t have time to do anything. So after talking with Josh he decided he wanted to have a brunch for his birthday and that is what we did.
Friends all came round about 10ish and soon after some eating, games, chatting, pressies, cake and all that stuff, everyone had left and the cleaning began.. blah.
By that afternoon we ended up being down 2 kids and left with Bianka. Joshua was invited to go sleep at his mates place and then Cassandra come home with an invite to stay at hers so we were left with Chubs. Poor mite though she was so upset. She wanted to know why she had no friends and couldn’t go for a sleep over. We told her soon enough she will have friends and can have a sleep over.
It was good she had no where to go though as soon enough she had a temp and wasn’t well at all. Think a little bit too much sun.
Now here we are 3rd day into the week.. the kids are still out and Bianka is entertaining herself.
It’s hit 40oC and I have decided that I am not doing anything else. I have spent the morning painting Joshua’s wall and it is too hot to do the rest of his room. The red is awesome. I love it. Not for the fact it is the same red as a coke can but it is awesome.
After I have cleaned out Photobucket I will upload the pics and share with you.
