About Me
My name is Lisa and I am 30 years young. I am married to the best man in the world, Paul, who we have been together for 12 years now and loving ever minute of it. We have three beautiful children together Cassandra 8, Joshua 7 and Bianka 3, they are the reason I scrap.
I got involved with the scrapbooking industry about 3 years ago when I went to a Creative Memories
party.Although I didn’t really get into the style of Creative Memories I thought the idea of being a grown up and getting to play with cut and paste was fun. I soon caught the bug and started my scrapping venture.
I love the traditional methods of scrapping, paper, glue, mess; and I like dabbling in a bit of the digital side. I am also a very keen off the page scrapper with some days that being all I do. Most of my scrapping is done at home in my spare time but once a month, I get together with 4 of my closest friends, (we call ourselves Scrappi Dais), and we scrap up a storm. It’s great to have friends to scrap with. Most of the time we don’t really get anything scrapped but we walk away with inspiration and end up scrapping when home.
I am an active member of a few scrapbooking sites online. I love the friendships and the ideas I get from being on these sites.
Recently I went from being the Design Team Coordinator and member for Scrap Galaxy to joining them in their new venture weScrap as one of their iTeam members. The new site is so much bigger and better and caters to all scrapbookers and members of the scrapping industry.
I am also an active member on Chelle’s site called Scrap ‘N’ Crazy. I am more so the tech person and behind the scenes with that. The forums are so comfy and small that anyone can feel at home and loved there.
Last but not least I hang my av over at Tally Scrapper. this is an awesome site with such friendly people and so much inspiration I just don’t know what to do with it all. I have scrapped so much since being a member there. I haven’t been there for a while due to illness but I am eager to get back when I finally find some time.
Before I got sick I was given the opportunity to teach scrapbooking for Stamp It. Teaching scrapbooking and off-the-page is a new part of the scrapping venture I was undertaking and whilst I did this I had a ball. I am not teaching at the moment but soon I would like to get back into it.
So that is a bit about me and my scrapping life.
Happy Scrapping everyone.
Lisa
